I never thought these things would work as the the color alone I was hesitant to buy with being darker color. With other reviews that I've read, I decided to take a chance and buy it and surprisingly it has been keeping me cooler.The back and the front has the soft fabric while the shoulder on the outer portion uses a thicker poly material of some type. Both arms have large pockets and the overall fit is perfect. Though I am thinking if you're not sure or between sizes I would definitely order next one size up.
