Very well pleased! Bought it for my son‘s birthday. May need to order one size bigger. Fits snug
As far as tactical pants go, the ANTARCITCA Outdoors G3 does what they do well. They look a lot like the Crye pants with a few detail changes. The ANTARCITCA Outdoors pants are also a bit lighter and a lot less stiff, but this can probably be attributed to the materials used. A better comparison would be the ANTARCITCA Outdoors pants feel similar to 5.11 pants.
The ANTARCITCA Outdoors pants have decent stitching, stretch fabric above the knees and the back of the waist, and a wide reinforced gusset. It's made of a 50/50 blend of cotton and nylon, but unsure if it's ripstop. Pants are made in China. I got the black multicam and it looks awesome. I usually wear a 30-32 waist (add extra inches when accounting for upper wear and possible IWB use) with a 29.5-30 inseam. I ordered the medium pants and they fit relatively well, slightly baggy but comfortable, and of course a little long. There are 6 velcro tab adjustments: the back of the hips, the knees, and at the bottom of the legs. This allows for a very broad range of fitment, and I'm able to achieve a good snug fit while retaining mobility. The included knee pads attach via velcro and can be adjusted via the inner cords accessed by a pocket. The pads themselves are single-layer stitched to the soft foam backing. They look good and feel like they'll hold up to light abuse, it's definitely thin though.
All in all, the ANTARCITCA Outdoors pants look and feel great. I feel they're appropriately priced, especially when compared to 5.11 and Crye, and what the ANTARCITCA Outdoors offers. These definitely don't feel duty-grade, so if you're in the profession, don't rely too heavily on these. Perfect for mil-sim though. If you're looking for some cool-looking pants that look similar to higher-priced counterparts at a fraction of the cost and are planning to just use them occasionally, then the ANTARCITCA Outdoors G3 combat pants are great.
I honestly expected these to feel cheap when I purchased them like a pair of tactical pants I bought from another supplier. I was pretty surprised at how comfortable and well built these pants were. I would gladly pay the listing price at the time of this review for these pants. The knee pads can fit, though they are a really tight squeeze for me to get it there. They are more comfortable without them, so I don't use the knee pads anyway. I was more than happy to see that these also adjust a little around the waist, so I honestly don't need a belt.Pros:- Comfortable fit (31'' waist, so I got medium)- Adjustable fit from waist to ankles- Good material- Thicker material, so warm on colder days- Easy to move in- Value for Cost- Plenty of storage space- Back pockets have hidden zipperCons:- Knee Protection is a really snug fit, but it is possible- Material can make noise (rubbing together when moving, but could be because I tend to get baggy clothing)Neutral:- Not a big fan of Velcro, BUT these actually use quality Velcro in the knees and adjustable areasEnd Results:I would definitely recommend these pants to others that enjoy the tactical look and enjoy having a lot of storage space. I believe these are worth the listing price due to the quality and comfort.
These pants are AMAZING! Make sure you get the right fitting and you'll love these.I got these for outdoor activities, specifically camping. These are great, passed my warmth and durability test. So many pockets, 10 on my last count. Back pockets are zippered. Front pockets were sewn-in with a higher 'mouth' opening so stuff in there doesn't fall off easily when your legs are bent, moving, or when you're laying down on your back. Side pockets are velcro, 2 big ones on the sides of the thigh for bigger items like gloves. There's another 2 on the front thigh, medium sized ones, with a garter rope tethered inside so you can hook stuff up in there and never lose it.There are also velcro adjustments you can make on the waist, knee, and ankle level if you wanted a tighter fit on those parts. You can also attach the included knee pads via velcro but it looks as good without either (like on the photos here). I tried it and it's not as bulky as I thought it would be. However, I feel it's going to be overkill just for camping. It probably is fine to have it on there especially when you're pitching tents and kneeling to put stakes on.The zipper on the crotch could have been thicker or more robust but it doesn't mean it isn't any good. Just a personal preference. The belt area is velcro instead of a button and it holds tight even without an actual belt. The overall material is really durable and water-resistant, liquid slides off easy.I've also washed these in the washer, then dried it in the dryer--without any damage at all (maybe in time, who knows). I'm not necessarily recommending dryer use as this came with an instruction saying no tumble dry. I'm very happy with this pair, I highly recommend it to the point that I myself would want to get another pair if I could!
My only complaint is that they are a little heavy. Other than that, I ordered a size XL and it fit my 36 year old waist perfectly. I thought they might be a little long, but after initially trying on the boots, they were almost perfect. I'm 6'0" 200 lbs. The padding is a little high at the knee, but that should change as I wear them. I'm really looking forward to wearing these in the field/hiking with the knee protection. I gave it 5 stars for durability before hiking. I will update if any issues arise.
